We are Manuel and Maria, a passionate couple with a deep connection with the sea since we were children. Since he was 7 years old, Manuel has sailed, competed and lived in the maritime world. His love of sailing led him to become a sailing instructor and then an experienced professional boat skipper.
It was through these experiences that they fell in love and met while sailing.
The story of Gypsea began when Maria shared with Manuel her passion for the idyllic island of Formentera, a place that she adored since her years of family vacations. Together they decided to share the beauty of these crystalline waters and the charms of Ibiza and Formentera through our sailboats and catamarans. Later, they decided to start sailing on sailboats in Barcelona, our city.
